All the characters in this movie are aware and conscious of showing themselves for who they are. All barriers between public and private are DESTROYED. I an AGE of economic and humanitarian decline – a decline that brings at the same time new questions of MEANING – several faces get closer to us. Painfully, sweetly, consciously human. A living FRESCO of an era that knows how to exhibit but doesn’t permit to be decoded. The project develops between spring and winter, and rejoins the spring time again. The cyclicity marks the lives of the characters too: from order to disorder, from GOOD to EVIL and the opposite, and everything else the society defines with those adjectives. It’s about their histories affecting these PLACES and TIMES. If transgression can be called that as long as it hides in the shadow, what is the meaning of “transgressing” nowadays, in a age where everything is visible?

		GET RHYTHM (2010) Doc. Movie / Digital Video / ENG / Lenght 5" Photographic documentary about Charlie Wilson from the Bricklane Boogie Boys in East London. The BLBB were formed in the summer of 1998, after an impromptu session between Big John Carter and Charlie Wilson. Soon after they brought in Micky Carrol on 5 String Banjo. They were a quirky trio playing a mixture of Boogie Woogie, Ragtime and Bluegrass, and did there first gig in the Prince of Wales pub in Stoke Newington. After six months or so as a trio, they called on Double Bass player Eddie Edwards, to complete the ensemble. They then began to forge the unique sound and style they are now known for nationwide. This incarnation of the group lasted for about three years before disbanding. In 2003 Charlie and John decided to reform the group, so Charlie brought in long time music collaborator Gerry Collins on Lead Guitar.
